
Step into a day of empowerment, culture, and sisterhood at Queen of Heritage and Brilliance: A Black Girl Leadership Experience—a dynamic, girl-centered Black History Month summit for teens ages 13–17, happening Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:30 AM–2:00 PM.
Hosted by the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant and powered by the Savannah Black Heritage Festival, this inspiring event is part of the official festival lineup—honoring legacy, leadership, and the brilliance of Black history.

This immersive experience is designed to uplift and celebrate young Black girls through a blend of education, creativity, and culture. The day features engaging sessions like:
Attendees will dive into hands-on workshops, meaningful discussions, creative projects, and heritage-based activities—all culminating in a powerful moment of unity and celebration of Black excellence.

The summit includes lunch, special gifts, and recognition moments, with inspiration from incredible women leaders such as Anjuli King (Director of Meeting Sales, Visit Savannah & Assistant Director, Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant), Dr. Jamita Cobb (Miss Georgia Plus America), Kyra Bradshaw (Miss Savannah Juneteenth Runner-Up 2024), and other respected community voices. Contestants from the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant will also take part, making this a truly intergenerational celebration of heritage and leadership.
