Saiiya King is a brilliant scholar, creative spirit, and emerging leader set to graduate on May 21, 2026. As an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme student and dual-enrollment scholar at Savannah Technical College, she balances academic excellence with a powerful dedication to service, leadership, and community impact.
For six years, Saiiya has represented Chatham County through GCAPP (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential), advocating for youth empowerment and wellness. She also serves as a proud member of the Chatham County Youth Commission and Savannah Youth Ambassadors. At Sol C. Johnson High School, she leads as a Positive Peer Influencer, SkillsUSA Secretary, and active member of FCCLA, the National Art Honor Society, and the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Beyond school, she serves faithfully in the AME Church, Sixth Episcopal District, as Recording Secretary, embodying faith and purpose in action.
Crowned Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth 2024, Saiiya carries the spirit of Juneteenth with grace and pride—honoring the past while shaping the future. She seeks the title of Miss Savannah Juneteenth to continue uplifting her community, proving that perseverance transforms struggle into strength. Her journey is a testament to the power of education, faith, and Black womanhood—reminding every young Black girl that her dreams are valid, her voice is powerful, and her crown has always been hers.
