Cayla Garner is a driven and purpose-focused student with an expected graduation date of May 21, 2027. Known for her dedication, integrity, and leadership, she is actively involved in several student organizations, including FCCLA, HOSA, and DECA. Through these programs, she continues to strengthen her skills in leadership, career readiness, and community service. As a Positive Peer Influencer, Cayla promotes confidence, accountability, and unity among her classmates, serving as a role model who leads with empathy and authenticity.
Cayla’s passion for service and empowerment extends beyond the classroom. She aspires to become Miss Savannah Juneteenth because the celebration of Juneteenth embodies freedom, resilience, and the enduring spirit of her community. To her, the title represents more than a crown—it is a meaningful platform to honor African American history, amplify cultural pride, and inspire the next generation of young Black girls to embrace their identity with confidence and purpose.
Through the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant, Cayla hopes to use her voice to celebrate Black excellence, educate others about the historical and cultural significance of Juneteenth, and help preserve its legacy within Savannah. She envisions using this opportunity to bridge generations, foster understanding, and promote unity through storytelling, education, and community engagement.
