2025 Miss Savannah Juneteenth

Miss YTINU MCDONALD

Chosen For The Arts, producers of the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant, proudly continues to celebrate Ytinu McDonald, our 2025 Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant titleholder.

Now a student at Howard University, Ytinu is continuing to excel academically with a GPA above 3.7 while actively engaging in campus life, leadership opportunities, and student activities. She is also involved in the university band, embracing both the academic and cultural experience of one of the nation’s most historic institutions.

A graduate of Savannah Early College, Ytinu has always stood out as a strong leader and scholar. During high school, she served as Vice President of both the National Honor Society and Student Council, while contributing to programs such as the Student Leadership Program, School Council, Action Research Team, Feature Georgia Educators, and the SLAM Poetry Team. She also served as Co-Captain of Bethesda Cheerleading.

Most recently, when the 2026 Miss Savannah Juneteenth contestants traveled to Washington, D.C., Ytinu proudly served as their student host during their visit to Howard University. She spent several days with the contestants, helping guide their experience, touring them through campus, sharing her transition into college life, and offering firsthand encouragement about higher education, leadership, and what it means to thrive beyond Savannah.

Her presence continues to reflect exactly what the Miss Savannah Juneteenth title represents — scholarship, leadership, cultural pride, and service. Ytinu remains a powerful example for younger girls watching what is possible when preparation meets opportunity.

She continues to honor the legacy of Juneteenth not only by wearing the crown, but by walking in purpose — representing Savannah with excellence while building her own future at Howard.

We are incredibly proud of you, Ytinu, and excited to watch all that is still ahead!
