Saiiya Grace King is a student at Sol C. Johnson High School, graduating in May 2026. She is part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program and participates in several school activities, including FCCLA, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), 21st Century, and the dance team. Saiiya is also an honor roll student, dedicated to maintaining her academic excellence.
Outside of school, she is a Savannah Youth Ambassador and participates in GCAPP (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential). Saiiya believes in using her knowledge and work ethic to contribute positively to any team or environment. She is passionate about improving her community and is driven to make a difference in Savannah.
Saiiya is competing for the title of Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth because she values the history and significance of Juneteenth, a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the triumph of the African American community. By participating in this event, she seeks to gain experience, enhance her leadership skills, and further her passion for community service. Saiiya is excited to represent the city of Savannah and inspire others, especially the youth, to take pride in their heritage and work toward building a stronger, more united community.
Through her participation, she hopes to honor the legacy of Juneteenth and contribute to the continued growth and empowerment of her city.
