The Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is a celebration of Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in African American history. This event showcases young African American women who compete in categories such as evening wear, talent, and interview. What sets this pageant apart is its emphasis on honoring the cultural and historical significance of Juneteenth, while also recognizing the achievements and contributions of African Americans.
In addition to the competition, the program offers a comprehensive training experience designed to prepare contestants for the pageant and for future academic and professional pursuits.
